Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Socks. laundry pickup and delivery apps and website (the “Services”), operated by SCKS LLC. By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

The service

Socks. is a marketplace that connects customers with independent laundry providers (“Socksters”) for pickup, wash & fold, and delivery. Socks. facilitates and coordinates these orders; the laundry care itself is performed by Socksters.

Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Orders, pricing, and payment

• Prices are shown in the app before you confirm an order. Flat per-bag pricing applies unless otherwise stated.
• Payment is processed through our provider, Stripe. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for orders and applicable fees.
• Refunds, credits, and wallet balances are handled as described in the app and are subject to our Care Guarantee where applicable.

Scheduling, cancellation, and access

• You are responsible for making your laundry available for pickup and delivery at the scheduled window and location.
• Cancellation windows and any related fees are described in the app at the time of booking.

Care Guarantee and liability

Our Care Guarantee covers eligible items handled through the Services, subject to the limits and claim process described in the app. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Socks. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited as set out in these Terms and the Care Guarantee.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by submitting hazardous or prohibited items, interfering with the platform, or using it for unlawful purposes.

Socksters

Socksters are independent contractors, not employees of Socks. Additional terms apply to Socksters through the Sockster onboarding and agreement.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the Services from time to time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where superseded by applicable consumer-protection law.
